Raised in the culturally rich military city of San Antonio, Texas taught me a lot of things but the two most important things to me were how to be a good mother, and to be anything other than mediocre and being the daughter of a first-generation naturalized citizen has really set the bar to becoming that person. The strong-will of my parents was something I cherished deeply especially the bravery, and sacrifices it took to bring us up well. I come from an exceptionally large and unique "modern family." With the will of my amazing husband, we have been able to raise our own wonderful family in this very new and diverse city, which we moved to in February of 2018. We have learned that having a good home is vital to our children's success. A large part of my family has or are currently proudly serving in the United Stated Armed Force varying from Marines, Navy, to my own sister, a disabled vet now retired from the Army, I truly admire their bravery and sacrifices. Their service, dedication, professionalism, and sense of community has shown me time, and time again how proud I am of them. I was also a military-veteran spouse raising young babies, so I know the sacrifices as well and how hard the process can be juggling daily life. Watching the valor and discipline I see every day from all walks of life moving from my military-city of San Antonio to serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex has left me inspired to help everyone find their own sanctuary in this great state of Texas.
